Big Apple Pharmacy opened under current ownership in December 2015. Since then Dhiren Patel, a pharmacist and owner had the vision to bring back traditional values while merging that “old school” feel with modern technology. With this dream and desire to provide quality service, he dared to take over ownership from previous owners. Dhiren considers New York City to be his home. He graduated from Long Island University, Arnold & Mary Schwartz College of Pharmacy with Master in Pharmacology and Toxicology. While working at Industry he got motivated to get into retail pharmacy business and open his first pharmacy in 2003. Since then he has operated multiple pharmacy and currently dedicating his time at Big Apple Pharmacy, Corona, Queens. As the owner of a small family business, Dhiren is dedicated and directly involved in the community and in the care of his customers.
